Colophon
The typography, palette, and craft behind intempus.org.
Palette
A single warm cream-toward-white background. The base palette is fixed,
--color-bg--color-bg-elevated--color-surface--color-fg--color-fg-muted--color-fg-faint... but the page can be tinted to any color in the field below. Move your cursor to blend hues from the nearest points; click to commit — the tint holds across navigation and resets on refresh.
Typography
The site is set in three typefaces. Headings and display lockups use Crimson Pro, a humanist serif designed for the web by Sebastian Kosch. Body text is Newsreader, a variable serif from Production Type optimized for long-form reading on screens. Monospace chrome, navigation, metadata, subtitles, is JetBrains Mono.
